You know what they say that no man is an island?
We are social beings, which is why my blog is not just about me.
I care about the people around me and even the greater community of strangers who read my blog.
What I am and how I feel is not confined to me.
If I shout at my colleague without reason, it will put him in a bad mood. In turn, he might yell at the hotdog vendor where he gets his lunch.
As this pisses off the hotdog vendor, he may get short-tempered on a customer asking for more mustard.
So in the end, my bad mood affects more people than intended.
My blog “Happy Circle +” intends to spread happy and positive thoughts and feelings.
I don’t want to contaminate anyone with bad vibes. So I want to share what is right, what is nice, delicious, healthy and helpful.
My name is Abigail. I grew up watching my mother cook in the kitchen. I love food, so naturally, everything around me is food.
I am a foodie, have a food business. Incidentally, I fell in love and married a food person, my blue-eyed James who wholesales meat and other food products.
I am also a relatively new mom, and motherhood gave me so much realization.
I look forward to the day I can share make-up with my daughter. I hope you will travel with me on my new journey as a new mom.
I am now into healthy eating and lifestyle. My goal is to be a good nutritionist for my family.
I also love gardening – planting beautiful flowers and having my own vegetable patch.
Whenever I can, I join my husband when he goes camping. He is such a fishing and hunting enthusiast.
Our family tries to travel at least a couple of times a year to discover new foods and lands.
Before we became parents to our baby girl, we were parents to a couple of dogs. James has his big Labrador, Ernest and I have my cute hotdog dachshund Peanuts.
James is a good handyman around the house so we often have do-it-yourself projects. For instance, our dogs each have their mansion in our garden – very spacious dog houses.
Our latest project, of course, was the nursery. Maybe in the next few stories, I can talk about some decor ideas we used.
More than talking about parenthood, relationships, handy projects, as I am really a food person, and the food is always about happiness, I will also be talking about food a lot.
I will share interesting things about food, and even a thing or two about choosing kitchen equipment or gadgets.
I welcome any comments and suggestions you may have.
I may not be able to please all of you, and I cannot expect everyone to agree with my opinions, but I am hoping that we can be constructive.
Please keep out negative vibes and bashing. Let us be kind and respectful towards others.
Until then, keep happy!
